The ‘Kinaway Retail Development Program’ seeks to increase the number of Aboriginal people doing business in the retail and wholesale sectors. This program aims to improve retail and wholesaling skills, marketing, business operations and retail commercial outcomes for Aboriginal people in the retail sector.
The program provides First Nations people and businesses in Victoria access to a range of programs, workshops and events that help to engage and develop opportunities in retail and wholesaling.
The program will have a range of opportunities to participate in and they will be listed below.
- Kinaway’s Wholesale Development Workshop Program
The program includes a live group coaching course, ‘Transform Your Wholesale Game’ delivered over four weeks beginning in October. The program covers everything you need to know about wholesale. It will be intensive but you will finish feeling confident about your next 12 months wholesale strategy.
You will walk away with a Wholesale strategy and confidence in your sales process.
There will be 4 x 1.5 hour sessions about getting your brand wholesale ready, all your sales and marketing material sorted, your messaging spot on and how to search, source and secure new stockists. We will cover range planning, seasonal vs indent and break even analysis. Sales language to use and how to write that perfect pitch email. Barcodes, agents, distributors and so much more.
The program also includes:
- homework in between.
- a special private Facebook group for support and sharing.
- a 1 hour follow up session a month later (to keep everyone accountable!!)
- a 1-on-1, 30 min zoom coaching session review of your sales email, catalogue and sales process!!
- The program will be delivered in partnership with thelotco.
