
OVERVIEW
The ‘Kinaway Trade Mission Program’ seeks to increase the number of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people doing business internationally through focussed country-to-country opportunities.
This program aims to foster connections between countries, create better access to potential trade opportunities and improve commercial outcomes across a range of industry sectors.
The program provides First Nations businesses in Victoria with access to a range of trade-related opportunities and events that help to promote and develop export outcomes.
The program will offer a range of opportunities both in-person or virtual trade missions to participate in. Current opportunities will be listed below.

- Kinaway Virtual Trade Mission (VTM) to Canada
Kinaway, in partnership with the Canadian Consulate is leading a Virtual Trade Mission (VTM) on the 27th August 2021 . Kinaway is calling for expressions of interest to participate in this virtual trade mission to Canada in August.
The Canada VTM program will provide you with opportunities to:
- build market insights
- explore market opportunities with other Canadian First Nations businesses
- expand your networks
- identify potential partners and clients.
A maximum of 12 business will be selected to participate in a targeted virtual business introduction and matching program.
While all applications will be considered, we will prioritise businesses that:
- have clear goals for doing business in Canada
- have been operating for at least 2 years
- are growing
- are currently or have the capability to export their products or services
- are a good trade fit for Canadian First Nations Businesses in the VTM
Prior to completing the EOI Form, you must view the VTM participating Canadian Businesses profile page (Link Below) to determine which businesses may be a good fit for your business to trade with.
