Our growth over four decades is underscored by our differentiated strengths and expertise. We provide quality and innovative solutions across rail, bridges, tunnelling, roads, airports, dams, water supply schemes, sewage rehabilitation and marine works.
How has the Partner engaged with the Indigenous sector?
We are currently on our Reflect RAP Journey, which has allowed us to form strategic partnerships with key industry and community stakeholders.
Gamuda has actively engaged in initiatives to foster positive outcomes for Aboriginal businesses, individuals, and communities. We've collaborated with local Aboriginal organisations to implement cultural awareness training across all our projects and corporate offices. This ensures our team members possess a strong cultural understanding and are empowered to support First Nations people as allies.
We have achieved a direct Aboriginal employment representation of 2.5% across Gamuda. Since 2022, our expenditure on Aboriginal businesses has surged to surpass 55 million dollars, involving collaboration with over 50 Aboriginal businesses.
Our commitment to the advancement of Aboriginal businesses is evident within our project initiatives, which include directly awarding contracts and supporting these enterprises in enhancing their capabilities through training and upskilling initiatives funded by Gamuda.
