Kinaway’s Business Profile lists recognise or celebrate an important day, theme or event by profiling business members whose business, products or services align with the theme of those days.

Kinaway is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from our business members who wish to be considered for a promotional Business List to be distributed on a particular date and hosted on the Kinaway website.

The lists are curated (meaning businesses will be selected based on the merits of their EOI, fit with the theme, quality of submission and comparison against other submissions). Business Lists may include a range of information depending on the theme and may include a varied number of businesses across different lists.

Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee automatic inclusion. Submissions that more closely meet the theme, provide complete, proofed and interesting or unique answers to EOI questions and include quality images are more likely to be selected. To be eligible to be selected for an EOI you must provide a link to a functioning website.

1. Labour Day – Business Profile List

To recognise Labour Day on March 14 March, Kinaway is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from our business members who wish to be considered for a promotional Business List to be distributed on Labour Day and hosted on the Kinaway website.

Labour Day commemorates the achievements of the Australian labour movement. The celebration of Labour Day has its origins in the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. The theme for our Labour Day Business list is ‘work/life balance’ and achieving a work/life balance by outsourcing the little jobs that you may not have time for. The types of businesses we are seeking to profile on this list may include businesses that could assist customers with personal support, in their business or around their home including jobs such as: Mowing and garden maintenance, Handyman and maintenance, Dog washing, Cleaning or Bookkeeping.

3. Closing the Gap – Business Profile List

To recognise National Close the Gap on March 17, Kinaway is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from our business members who wish to be considered for a promotional Business List to be distributed on National Close the Gap Day and hosted on the Kinaway website.

Closing the Gap is underpinned by the belief that when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have a genuine say in the design and delivery of policies, programs and services that affect them, better life outcomes are achieved. It also recognises that structural change in the way governments work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is needed to close the gap. The National Agreement on Closing the Gap has 17 national socio-economic targets across areas that have an impact on life outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Kinaway invites Expressions of Interest from member businesses that are Closing the Gap through addressing any of the 17 socio-economic targets.
