Kinaway Travel Subsidy program for Business Owners

 

The Kinaway Travel Subsidy for Business Owners program is available for application to Kinaway business owner members who wish to apply for travel and accommodation support to attend an eligible Kinaway event.

The Travel subsidy provides support across the following three categories:

  1. Accommodation support – provides up to $100 to a business owner to attending an event who is staying in accommodation.
  2. Travel Expenses – provides up to $75 to the business owner who is travelling more than 150kms (return) to attend the event.
  3. Parking Fees – provides up to $50 per day to attend eligible Kinaway events.

 

Subsidy Information

  • Applications are to be made per business owner attending an event.
  • Applications are pre-approved prior to an event. Applications cannot be made post-event.
  • Accommodation support provides up to $100 to a business owner, with priority provided to regionally-based businesses who need accommodation to attend events.
  • Travel Expenses provides up to $75 to a business owner member who is travelling more than 150kms (return) to attend an event. Priority is provided to regionally-based business owners.
  • Parking Fees provides up to $50 per day to attend eligible Kinaway events.
  • The list of eligible events is provided at the top of the form below. Events may be targeted to particular members e.g. female-led businesses.
  • Travel support is provided when a relevant event is scheduled and/or when budget is available for the program. Support is approved to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted for that event. Funds are provided to members on a reimbursement basis only.
  • A valid tax invoice and evidence of the expense e.g. receipt/tax invoice must be provided to ensure reimbursement. Successful applicants will be informed of the requirements of the subsidy and reimbursement arrangements by the relevant event manager.
  • Travel support eligibility and information is subject to change.

Travel support is provided on a reimbursement basis only. A valid tax invoice and evidence of the expense must be provided to ensure reimbursement.
