Aqua Metro is an integrated service provider specialising in the water sector. Our organisation and team bring significant capability and experience in design and construction of civil, mechanical, and electrical works to the water industry. Our service lines include Water & Waste water Treatment Plant, Pump Stations, Dam Construction, Sewer Rehabilitation Works, Pipeline Works, Program Management and Water Main Maintenance Works.

Kinaway Chamber of Commerce to improve our visibility and networks, strengthen our relationships, and create meaningful and sustainable opportunities for Indigenous Australians
Wara Paring Civil to perform all NDD works within our project pipeline
Steve Parker to facilitate Cultural Awareness Training, Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremonies during our internal events, and commission art work for our office space and internal documentation
Kiernan Ironfield to perform traditional music on the Yidaki (Didgeridoo) during internal events
At Aqua Metro, our main goal is to enhance our Reconciliation efforts by supporting Indigenous Australians, through employment opportunities and long-term partnerships.
Reconciliation Week Workshop 2022
We are developing a ‘First Nations Engagement Strategy called: Connect To Country’, which outlines our involvement within the Indigenous Sector. It encompasses our RAP, a Cultural Awareness Training Program we roll out across our organisation as a component of staff onboarding, Initiatives we implement, the relationships we’ve developed in an Indigenous Relationship Management Platform, company policies we have implemented, and Indigenous Procurement processes and policies. This is an ongoing, organic document that we hope to constantly add to and evolve, as we continue to engage with people and businesses within the Indigenous sector.

We are leaving a legacy of our genuine and authentic efforts towards empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and creating positive societal change. We endeavour to create long-term relationships with Indigenous people and businesses, by providing employment, training and development opportunities in a work environment that is culturally safe and supportive.
Through the guidance of Kinaway, we hope to create our Reconciliation Action Plan, to enhance our commitments, increase our involvement and expand our cultural awareness beyond our company. We want to provide tangible and substantive benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, increase economic equity and support First Nations people towards self-determination and self-reliance.
